MyMoneyConcierge — Delete Your Data

App: MyMoneyConcierge · Provider: SmartHarmony AI LLC · Contact: support@smartharmonyai.com

MyMoneyConcierge stores your financial records — accounts, transactions, transfers, categories, budgets, goals, notes and receipts — only on your device, in an encrypted database. There is no account holding your ledger on our servers and we keep no copy of it. Because the data lives on your device, you can delete all of it yourself, at any time, directly in the app, and the removal is immediate and permanent.

Delete everything from the app

This is the primary way to delete your data. It wipes everything MyMoneyConcierge stores on your device:

  1. Open MyMoneyConcierge on your phone.
  2. Go to Settings → Privacy & Security.
  3. Tap Delete all my data.
  4. Confirm when asked. The action is permanent and cannot be undone.

This permanently erases the on-device encrypted ledger, your receipts and attachments, your settings, and — importantly — the encryption keys that protect them. Purging the keys is what makes the deletion final: any residual encrypted copy that might still exist anywhere, including in a platform device backup, becomes permanently unreadable rather than merely inaccessible.

Export first if you might want your records later. Deletion is irreversible and we cannot recover anything for you — we have no copy and no master key. Take an encrypted export from Settings → Privacy & Security → Export everything before you delete, if there's any chance you'll want your history for taxes, a mortgage application, or your own records.

Disconnect a bank (and delete data held at the aggregator)

If you used the Connected plan and linked an account, there is a second party involved: the data aggregator that provides the connection. To end that:

  1. Go to Accounts and open the connected account.
  2. Tap Disconnect.
  3. Confirm. This revokes the connection at the aggregator and requests deletion of the associated data held there.

Your existing transaction history stays in your ledger and the account simply becomes a manual one — disconnecting never deletes what you've already recorded. Deleting all your data (above) removes that history too.

Connections you stop using are also disconnected automatically after a defined period of inactivity, with advance warning, so a link you have forgotten about does not stay open.

Deleting the app is not the same as deleting your data

On most devices, uninstalling removes the app's storage — but this varies by platform, version and backup settings, and an uninstall does not disconnect a linked bank or cancel a subscription. For a clean, certain result, do it in this order:

  1. Export anything you want to keep.
  2. Disconnect any linked bank accounts.
  3. Cancel your subscription in the App Store or Google Play, if you no longer want it.
  4. Delete all my data in the app.
  5. Uninstall the app.

Ask us to delete something

If you'd like help, or want to request deletion of anything we hold that isn't covered above, email support@smartharmonyai.com with "Data deletion" in the subject. Tell us which app and the store account you purchased with, if relevant.

We will confirm and complete the request within the shortest period the applicable law requires, and we will not ask you for more personal information to verify the request than the request itself concerns. Please don't send us bank credentials, full account numbers, or your export passphrase — we don't need them and can't use them.
